A Dub makes it to the pages of Pravda

Thought I might start the year on a light note, given the times that are in it. So here you go:

Samantha Mumba, late of The Late Late and downtown Dublin, now lives in Hollywood — yis all know that, right? — and the move seems to be working.

Yes, Sam is now a piece of cheescake in the pages of Russian publication Pravda. Not the old Soviet Pravda, whose title means 'Truth', but Pravda.ru, an online magazine which I can't quite categorise.

Nevertheless, it's a fun read, and in among the 'Weird creatures found in drain' and 'US built flying saucers to bomb USSR' stories you find some memorable items like this: 'The Chocolate Side of Hollywood'. One thing it teaches you is that the publishers have had no training in what's 'politically correct' or, to be more accurate, acceptable discourse in a liberal society. Check it out here.
