From President to Hell's Angel — for a day

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko forsook his usual racing bike — the kind with pedals — for a Harley Davidson recently. Visiting the 'Minsk 2009' biker festival with his younger son Nikolay, he watched the stunt show, and chatted with the organisers and some of the 800 bikers that took part in the event.

The biker rally was organised as part of the anti-Nazi celebrations to mark the end of the German occupation of Belarus at the end of World War II.
